Texans for Accountable Government (TAG) is a bipartisan Political Action Committee headquartered in Central Texas. TAG was formed with the ambition of reigning in the intrusive and expanding reach of government which threatens to invade every facet of our lives. Our ambition is to put the reins of government back into the hands of individual American citizens; allowing us to once again run our own lives.

Harmonize
Harmonize with individuals and organizations that you may not always agree with. It’s important that when we can come together, we do. For some projects TAG is more likely to work with the “left” while with others it’ll be the “right”.
Humanize
Humanize with office holders and law enforcement. Letting these individuals know that we are real people who care about our community and our rights opens hearts and minds. We're all people, with hopes and dreams, let prove that by working it out together.
Non-Partisan
We are a non-partisan Political Action Committee headquartered in Central Texas. TAG was formed with the ambition of reigning in the intrusive and expanding reach of government, which threatens to invade every facet of our lives. Let get the reins of government back to the people.
Affectibility
We focus on issues at the local, county, and state level. We believe in the principle of subsidiary; that power should be vested in the nearest locality. Our local representatives are much more accountable to us than are those over a thousand miles away in the District of Columbia.
Localize
Localize our efforts by working on city, county, and state level policy. We have seen the United State government trample on our individual rights for decades. We can have a stronger impact focusing at the local/state level, we have much more of an impact on public policy.

TNM work to secure and protect the political, cultural and economic independence of the Nation of Texas and to restore and protect a Constitutional Republic and the inherent rights of all Texan’s. According to a newly released poll by SurveyUSA, a top-rated pollster, 66% of likely Texas voters want Texas to withdraw from the union and “become an independent country.”

Working Together
We are dedicated to safe guarding individual liberty, protecting personal privacy and property rights, election integrity, safe water, and electing representatives, not bureaucrats, to office! Coming to rallies, helping disseminate flyers at events, help with clerical, letter writing, emailing, researching content and just general connecting with people.
Uploading articles, writing short news bits and factoids. Decisions regarding key note speakers, reaching out to them and event determination. Newsletter management, posting and emailing newsletters and event calendar. Liaison to executive office, with the management of the contractors, staff and volunteers.
Making key connections to influential people, writing and submitting proposals, communication with key donors, traveling around state giving Prezi and PowerPoint presentations. At times closing cooperative agreements with organizations.
